living life one word at a time.

For me, poetry isn’t simply expression, but rather the method in which to collect myself and piece me back together; my poetry is an amalgamation of who I’ve been, who I am and who I might become.

A Story in Snapshots: Jaisalmer

A Story in Snapshots is a series I’d like to begin to portray more of my photography. The essence of it is to explain something largely in pictures and maybe a few words. So here it goes.

In December of 2019, my family and I took a trip to Jaisalmer. These pictures are some of my favorites from our time there.

A flight from Bangkok to Mumbai.
Roadtrip Entertainment.
The Entrance to Gadisar Lake.
Gadisar Lake.
Khaba Fort.
Shadows and Sunlight – A long history.
Khaba Fort – Peeking sunlight
Afternoon Sunshine
Sunset Point
Mid Laughter at my Mom’s Dad jokes.
Chai is an absolute favorite.
Jaisalmer Fort.
One of the many shops, at one of the many markets, in one of the many forts.
Kuldhara – the Abandoned Village
Sum Dunes – Which sounds like some dunes, and I find that amusing.
A silhouette on Sum dunes.
Fireside.
